Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

DevMigration LLC ("DevMigration", "we", "us", or "our") builds and publishes software applications for many platforms, including mobile (iOS and Android), web, desktop (Windows, macOS, and Linux), and other connected devices. We also operate the website devmigration.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to every application, website, web app, desktop program, browser extension, or related online service that names DevMigration LLC as its developer, publisher, or operator (together, the "Apps"), wherever you get it: an app store such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store, the web, or a direct download. It also applies to this website (together with the Apps, the "Services"). If an individual App handles data differently from what is described here, that App will show you a separate notice before it collects the data.

Software we build for clients and publish under a client's name is covered by that client's privacy policy, not this one.

1. Information we collect

We try to collect as little information as possible. Depending on which App you use and which features you turn on, we may collect:

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We do not sell your personal information. Some free Apps show ads from Google AdMob, as described in Advertising below.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

4. Third-party services

Some Apps use third-party services, libraries, or software development kits (SDKs) for functions such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, sign-in, payments, or cloud storage. These providers may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. For Apps distributed through an app store, the data types each App collects and shares are also listed on its store page (for example, App Privacy on the Apple App Store and Data safety on Google Play).

4a. Advertising

Some free Apps, including Whisker Grid, show ads provided by Google AdMob. In Whisker Grid, ads are optional: you only see one when you choose to watch a short video to get a hint or another try. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process your device's advertising identifier, your IP address (which can be used to estimate your general location), information about how you interact with ads and the App, and diagnostic data. This information is collected by Google and handled under the Google Privacy Policy; see also How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states), the App asks for your choices before any ads are requested, using Google's consent tool. Ads may be personalized only if you agree. You can change your choices at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Game progress and settings in Whisker Grid are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions in our Apps are processed either by the app store you downloaded the App from (such as Apple, Google, or Microsoft) or, for web and desktop Apps, by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited transaction information, such as a purchase confirmation, product ID, and subscription status, so we can unlock the features you paid for.

6. Device and browser permissions

Some App features may ask for access to things like your camera, photos, files, location, microphone, contacts, or notifications. We ask only when a feature needs that access, and we use it only for that feature. You can allow or revoke these permissions at any time in your device, operating system, or browser settings. Turning off a permission may stop the related feature from working, but the rest of the App will continue to work.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Account data is kept while your account is active. Diagnostic and usage data is generally kept for no more than 24 months. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to resolve your request. We may keep some information longer when the law requires it.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time:

We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. Some information may be kept where we are legally required to do so (for example, transaction records), and backups are cleared on their normal cycle. Uninstalling an App or clearing your browser data removes data stored only on your device, but does not delete data stored on our servers.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the rights listed above. We do not sell personal information. In Apps that show ads, Google may receive information that California law treats as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising when ads are personalized. You can opt out with the App's Privacy choices option or your device's ad settings.

EEA and UK residents: we process personal information to provide the Services you request (contract), for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For ads, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Settings → Privacy choices in the App.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. International users

DevMigration is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the App or by other appropriate means.
